This is the Commission's continuing education baby; born every year on July 1st; it matures throughout the license year, then it dies on June 10th, never to be resurrected.
If you are Provisionally licensed, or a full Broker, "you gotta see the [Genup] baby" each year following your first renewal to maintain your license.
Do your visit online with TMI at any point on it's way from fresh and bouncy to old and crotchety.
BIC/Eligible brokers: You will lose your status if you take this Update course. Take the BICUP instead.
This is the Commission's continuing education Update course just for BIC Eligible Brokers. Like the Genup, it is born every year on July 1st; it matures throughout the license year, then it dies on June 10th, never to be resurrected.
For all BIC/BIC Eligible brokers, this is the Update that you must take to maintain your BIC/Eligible status.
If you take this course without BIC Eligibility, it will give you Update credit. However, to become BIC Eligible, brokers must apply at ncrec.gov .

Provisionally Licensed brokers must complete all three of these real estate classes in any order within 18 months of the date on the real estate license. Brokers who have been INACTIVE for more than 2 years AND who have missed a single continuing education course will also probably need to take two of these real estate licensing classes to reactivate.
One of three Commission required real estate classes, this course dives deep into the world of agency to ensure you understand how to practice brokerage legally by properly addressing agency disclosure, and the process of representing a buyer or seller including completing the standard agency forms. There’s even a little property management thrown in for good measure.
Of the Commission's required Real Estate Classes, this is the course where you really get to understand the 2T and all related addenda as they are currently written and produced by the Standard Forms Committee. This is also the class that addresses the creation and interpretation of the RESPA required borrower’s Closing Disclosure, including prorating taxes, rents and dues.
