It's a pleasure to have you here. "Here" is Raleigh, North Carolina, my home in NC since 2014. Having resided all over the great state of NC since moving here in 1985 - from Boone, North Carolina, to Wilmington, and up the Coast of Eastern North Carolina, I specialize not just in Raleigh Real estate, but in North Carolina Real Estate Education.
I have been actively involved in Education since 1999, when I taught high school English in Eastern NC and two national capitols. I finally made the shift to real estate in 2015 and to Real Estate Education shortly thereafter in 2017, when I was hired by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission to redesign and deliver the 12 hour Broker-In-Charge course.
(That's right, if you have taken the Broker-In-Charge course since 2017, then it is a distinct possibility that I taught you some segment of your course. If you took it online, then my voice may still haunt you;-),
Long before I was an actual broker, I was raised in the world of construction, relocation and mortgage, and educated by another Instructor at That's My Instructor, Jane Cavanagh. You can find her profile on her page, here.
Since 2019, I have been working in front of a Prelicensing, Postlicensing, or Continuing Education classroom, both live and virtually, helping hopeful and capable brokers through their requirements.
Around the same time I started teaching licensing courses in 2019, I also began writing courses for Broker Continuing Education. Finally, I have added on the role of Education Director of this real estate school, in hopes that more talented Instructors have a chance to share their knowledge with the people who are hungry to learn it.
